International Students Program

Adelaide High School has a special international students program that offers:
Intensive Secondary English Classes (ISEC). Social and intercultural learning are key components of this program. The aim is to familiarise international students with life in Australia

The Graduate Program. Students can enter this program after completing the ISEC program and this program allows students to complete their senior school studies in Australia Short term visits.

The school can arrange for a special program including English classes, experiential learning and excursions around Adelaide

International students wishing to study and live in Australia have a variety of courses to choose from.

They include:

  • Intensive English Courses

  • Intensive Primary English Course (IPEC) & Intensive Secondary English Course (ISEC)

These courses are primarily designed to improve the communications skills of newly arrived international students in Australia.

The English classes include listening, reading, writing and speaking. Once the suitable level of proficiency is reached, the students are then able to proceed to mainstream secondary or primary classes.

 

Entry requirements

The level of English language proficiency will determine the number of ISEC weeks required.
